Japanese schools try new maglev speed of 500km/H

Recently the company Central Japan Railway gave public test version of maglev high-speed field in Tsuru, Yamanashi counties.

Some residents and journalists were invited to go through the new ticket gates and onto the train to go through a long test 42,8km distance at speeds up to 500km / h.

This train will run back and forth between Tokyo and Nagoya, which is expected to enter service in 2027. There will be 4 stops on long haul travel 286km from Nagoya Shinagawa. These stations will be located at a depth of 40 meters below ground.

This test is to demonstrate the technology "L-Zero", first it takes to train a speed of about 160km / h, before activating the system and slowly flipped the magnetic field helps achieve speed trains as high as 500km / h. Current operating speed of the Shinkansen bullet train is 320km / h, the highest speed whether it ever reached is 581km / h.

Maglev school has long been promised as a means of transport for the future, and Japan with the system was also great Shinkasen much. But they are constantly researching and developing the maglev.

Cushion magnetic technology uses a series of magnets to improve and speed up the train, in theory it would work more efficient transport, with little more than maintenance activities.
